In Phone call verification, Google My Business team will call the number what you have provided while creating a business listing account. As soon as you have submitted a request to verify your business listing account, you will receive a call from Google Business Listing team and verify the ownership of your account like Business Name, Location, Working Hours and more. Postal Card Verification is most common verification method, in this method you will receive a postcard with the unique verification code to your business address what you have entered while creating the account. In the gap of 2 weeks from requesting for verification, you will receive a postcard. Don’t change your business information like Business Name, Phone Number, Email Id, and other details during this waiting period of two weeks as it may further delay the verification process. Once you have received your unique verification code, enter the same in your Google My Business Page, and that’s it your Business Page is now verified. If it is been more than two weeks since you requested for verifying your business and haven’t received any postcard you can Contact Google Support Team.

Google My Business helps to keep your business information consistent across the web. If there is any inconsistent information you can edit in Google My Business Dashboard. Under Info session of Google My Business dashboard, you can see all your business details, with edit options. If there is any inconsistency edit the session and save it. It will take up to two days (24 to 48 hours) to make edits appear on Google Ranking and Maps. In addition to manual edits, Google will also edit your business information from various sources like customer feedback, data on the web and many. If Google has edited either of your information from any of the sources, you will be notified about it in your Google My Business dashboard, you can review theses and can make changes if you would like to change any.
